Virginian-Pilot September 8, 1967
VIRGINIA BEACH - Preston Delmar Cruser, 66, of 1608 Pacific Ave., died Thursday 
at 12:50 p.m., in a Norfolk hospital, after a short illness.
A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Clarence M. and Mrs. Emma Thomas Cruser and 
the husband of Mrs. Anne Brock Cruser. He was retired from the U.S. Public 
Health Service.
He lived here 50 years and was a Baptist.
He was a charter member of Virginia Beach Elks Lodge 2268.
Besides his widow, surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Beverly B. Mumford of 
Richmond and Mrs. Mary Cruser Spruill of Norfolk, and two brothers, Ralph E. 
Cruser of Wake Forest, N.C., and Kenneth B. Cruser of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Maestas Funeral Home 
by the Rev. H. Waddell Waters of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk.
