Cruser, widow of James H. Cruser, died yesterday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock at the residence, 4708 Colonial avenue. She was 61 years old. A native of New York State, Mrs. Cruser had resided in Norfolk for the past 57 years. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R.J. Lambert, Mrs. E.C. Knight, Mrs. Sanford Taylor and Miss Myrtle Cruser; four sons, Melvin E., Lawrence C., Merritt G. and James R. Cruser, all of Norfolk; fourteen grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. James Ramsey, of this city and Mrs. W.F. Hornerm, of Townsend, Va. Funeral services will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. J.E. Meredith, D.D., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
