Virginian-Pilot, October 26, 1900

The funeral services of Miss Margaret Elizabeth Cruser, who died on Wednesday 
morning at the residence her parents, Olney Road, Ghent, took place from the 
St. Paul’s Church yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock, and was largely attended. 
There was a profusion of handsome flowers, which was evidence of the high 
esteem in which the deceased was held by her many friends. Rev. Dr. Carl E. 
Grammer, of Christ Episcopal Church, officiated, assisted by Rev Dr. J.P. 
Barrett, of the Christian Memorial Temple. The pall-bearers were as followsL 
Messrs. H. Hodgson, T. Upton. H. Dickerson, E.C. Pettit, W.L. Caler, J. 
Hennelly, P.W. Powell, and C.E. Francis. The burial took place in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
