R. B. Kealey, pastor, officiating. The Rev. Paul V. Heller was present in the sanctuary. During the service Mrs. S. A. Sutton sang “Abide With Me," with J. Harvey Stevens, as organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with clusters of roses, gladioli, carnations and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were George E. Edwards, Minor Sheerin, Lee F. Lawler, David B. Lawrence, W. J. Cannon and Ernest Morgan. The mass was sung by members of the choirs of several Norfolk churches with which Mr. Crutsinger had been associated over a period of years. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Kealey paid tribute to the Christian life and character of Mr. Crutsinger and spoke of his devotion to his church, family and friends.
