CHESAPEAKE—Mrs. Katherine Margaret Surovic Cullen, 72, died Friday at 7:25 a.m. in 
a nursing home.
A native of Czechoslovakia, she was a daughter of Michael and Mrs. Mary Baloz 
Surovic and the widow of Augustine Cullen.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She formerly lived at 9655 
Willow Terrace, Norfolk. She was a retired employe of Hot Shoppe, Inc.
She is survived by a son, Vincent Jerry Cullen of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. 
Pauline Tluchak of Chesapeake, Mrs. Julia Zayek of Plainfield, NJ., and Mrs. Anna 
Michalovic of Czechoslovakia; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. 
Burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake has 
charge. The family will be at 1401 West Road.
