Virginian-Pilot  March 5, 1903
The obsequies of Mr. Peter Cullen, whose demise occurred in New York Saturday of 
last week, were solemnized from St. Mary's Catholic church at 10 a.m. yesterday. 
The service was conducted by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of the church. 
During the service, Miss Smith rendered very sweetly the solos "0 Salutaris” and 
“One Sweetly Solemn Thought.” There was a beautiful display of floral tributes. 
The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. Frank O’Connor, Charles Reilly, David Donovan, William Long, 
Timothy Hickey, Thomas Fitzgibbon, James O’Rourke and Nicholas Welsh.
