Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 15, 1951

Mrs. Ellen Quinn Cullen, 86, widow of John Cullen and daughter of Daniel and 
Mrs. Ellen Quinn, died yesterday at 12:02 a.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Ireland, she had been a resident of Norfolk for many years, making 
her home at 316 Ward Avenue.
She is survived by a number of relatives in Ireland.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. 
Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments today at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Ellen Quinn Cullen — Funeral services for Mrs. Cullen, widow of John 
Cullen, who died Wednesday, were conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
yesterday at 9 a.m. by the Rev. John J. Bannon. The Rev. Edward W. Johnston and 
the Rev. Walter Herbert were present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were William J. Ralston, Joseph McPhillips, Thomas J. Reilly, 
William E. Fulford, Frank Freemon and Vincent McPhillips.
