Funeral services from St. Mary's Catholic Church TOMORROW (Wednesday) MORNING, at 10 o'clock. Friends are invited to attend. ******************************************************************************** The remains of Mr. Peter Cullen, whose death occurred in New York City Saturday last, arrived in Norfolk by the Old Dominion steamer accompanied by his brother, Mr. John Cullen, of this city. The deceased had never been a resident of this place, but had been a frequent visitor and had a large number of friends here. The funeral will be solemnized from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock this morning. Virginian Piot March 4, 1903 ****************************************************************************** The obsequies of Mr. Peter Cullen, whose demise occurred in New York Saturday of last week, were solemnized from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. yesterday. The service was conducted by Rev. Father John Doherty, pastor of the church. During the service Miss Smith rendered very sweetly the solos "O Salutarus" and "One Sweetly Solemn Thought." There was a beautiful display of floral tributes. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Messrs. Frank O'Connor, Charles Reilly, David Donovan, William Long, Timothy Hickey, Thomas Fitzgibbon, James O'Rourke and Nicholas Welsh.
