Cunningham, who departed this life at her home, N No. 297 Freemason Street, Thursday, were held from the residence at noon y yesterday. A large crowd of sorrowing friends gathered to pay the last sad tribute of respect to her who was so highly esteemed for her beautiful Christian character character, and her bright and cheerful disposition, together with high mental e endowments, For many years she was a devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was born and reared in the home in which she died. She was a descendant from a h highly respected Scotch family, who were among the early settlers of Norfolk. The services were conducted by Rev. B. D. Tucker, D.D., rector of St. Paul's. The remains were laid to rest in the family lot in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: Col. L. D. Starke, Major Walter F. Irvine, Messrs. C. Whittle Sams, C. J. Ball, D.
