NORFOLK — Frederick Louis Curdts, 79, retired jewelry store manager, died Dec. 
23, 1989, in his residence.
Mr. Curdts, a native of Norfolk, had retired as manager of Frank R. Ford Jewelry 
Company after 42 years. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and was the 
widower of Leslie Commander Curdts.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda C. Bradley and Leslie C. Smith, both of 
Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cox Funeral Home Chapel by 
the Rev. George D. Heath Sr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may 
join the family at the residence of Leslie C. Smith at 4608 Tony Lima Lane, 
Virginia Beach.
Memorial donations may be made to Knox Presbyterian Church.
