He was a life long resident of Norfolk County, where he conducted farming and dairy business until forced to retire on account of ill health. He was a son of the late Joseph J. and Mrs. Fannie Hollowell Curling and husband of Mrs. Mary DeBaun Curling. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Lewis L. Curling, of South Norfolk; John D. Curling, of Norfolk County; Dennis P. Curling, of South Norfolk and Lieut. Samuel F. Curling, USNR; three daughters, Mrs. D.J. Holdbrook, of Hampton; Mrs. W. T. Howell, of Durham, N.C.; Mrs.W.R. Garron, of Norfolk County and 18 grandchildren. He was a member of the South Norfolk Congregational-Christian Church. The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
