Currier, relict of the late Nathaniel Currier, took place yesterday afternoon, at 4 o'clock, from the Cumberland Street Methodist Church, the Rev. Joseph H. Riddick, pastor, preaching the funeral sermon, which was replete with Christian doctrine and impressive influences. The deceased was seventy years of age at her death. She was born in 1810 in Westmoreland County, Virginia; her father, C. H. Lee, was a lineal d descendent of Launcelot Lee, the progenitor of Gen. Robert E. Lee, and the g great family of soldiers and statesmen with whom the Lees were connected. Mrs. Currier was a devout Christian and charitable to excess, always seeking out and courting the offices of kind humanity. She leaves behind her a large circle of sorrowing friends and many dear relatives to mourn her loss. Peace to her ashes.
