Virginian Pilot January 31, 1909

CURRY - At St. Vincent's hospital, Saturday morning, January 30, 1909, at 1 
o'clock, KATE, wife of Robert Curry, aged 48 years.
Funeral services from St. Mary's Catholic Church WEDNESDAY MORNING at 10 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.

Mrs. Kate Curry, wife of Robert Curry of Newport News, who had been under 
treatment at St. Vincent's Hospital, died at that institution at 1 o'clock a.m. 
yesterday after a lingering illness. The deceased was a former resident of 
Norfolk, but had resided in Newport News for twelve years. Besides her husband, 
she is survived by three sons, Samuel Curry of New York and John A. and Joseph 
Curry of Newport News. The remains are now at the apartments of Funeral Director 
H.D. Oliver, 520 Freemason Street, where they will lie in state until Wednesday 
next, when the funeral will be solemnized from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 
o'clock a.m. Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery.
