Hollomon-Brown FH December 2024
Norfolk- Thomas Lynn Curtis died on December 17, 2024, at Leigh Memorial 
Hospital. He was born January 9, 1948, the son of Herbert and Marjorie Curtis.
Thom graduated from Oscar Smith High School. He was an entrepreneur, owning and 
operating numerous businesses, including retail stores and restaurants. Thom 
shared his later years with his wife, Becky Johansen. He is survived by his 
brother, Rodney Curtis, sister, Katherine Wilton, and his sons Eddie and Shawn, 
and his dog Buster.
Thom’s passion was his art and being near the ocean. He was an accomplished 
painter, having shown his art in the Hampton Roads area most of his life.
A wake and prayer service will be held at Hollomon-Brown, Tidewater Drive 
Chapel, located at 8464 Tidewater Dr., on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 10 to 
11AM, followed by a graveside service at 12pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery located at 
3000 Church St. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.hollomon-
