NORFOLK - Mrs. Elizabeth Bottimore Marable Curtis, 55, wife of Sandusky W. H. 
Curtis and daughter of the late William Ashby and Mrs. Maria Trench Marable, a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday at 12:30 p.m. at the residence, 423 
Westover Ave.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Norman L. Overton 
Jr., and Mrs. H. B. Sams, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis M. Cooper, of 
Washington, and Mrs. Sterling G. Williams, of Norfolk; and an aunt, Mrs. L. S. 
Grove, of Norfolk.
Services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday at 3:30 
p.m. by the Rev. Edward H. Jones, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, 
and the Rev. Joel B. Whitten, Jr., D.D., pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
