Virginian Pilot Saturday December 5, 1903

William S. Curtis, a well known and highly respected citizen of the county, died 
Thursday afternoon at his home near Centreville, Norfolk County, after a 
lingering illness.  The deceased was 68 years of age and leaves a widow and 
several children.
The funeral will be conducted from the family residence this morning and the 
interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, this place.
A son of the deceased, of Jacksonville, Fla., arrived here yesterday to attend 
the funeral.

The funeral of the late William S. Curtis, who died at the family residence near 
Centerville, was conducted from the residence yesterday afternoon and the 
interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.  There were quite a number of persons in 
attendance.
