Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, February 2, 1992 
Helen Thigpen Curtis, of the 900 block of Avenue H, died Jan. 31, 1992, in a
nursing home.

Mrs. Curtis was born in Norfolk County. She was the widow of Oscar Curtis and
was a member of Oakwood Chapel Church of Christ Disciples.

Survivors include a sister, Marie L. Jackson of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Service.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at
the funeral home. Friends may join the family at the residence.
