Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Curtis, who died Thursday, December 1, at her
home, 611 Pool Street, were conducted from Jerusalem Baptist Church Tuesday,
December 6, with the pastor, the Rev. A. A. Hobbs officiating.

Mrs. Curtis was a faithful member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and also held
membership in the Tents Lodge. Surviving her are six children, three daughters
and three sons. She was a native of Dinwiddie County but had made her home here
for a number of years.
