She was a native of Norfolk County, but had resided in Berkley a greater part of her life at Lee and John streets, where she kept perhaps the first floral gardens on this side of the river. Her husband, who died about 15 years ago, was master mechanic on the Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Mrs. Cuthrell was well known and highly esteemed. Her sympathetic disposition made for her a large number of people glad to be called her friend. The funeral will be conducted at the Main Street Christian Church Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock and Rev. M.L. Bryant, the pastor, will officiate. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
