Virginian Pilot March 6, 1901
George Erskine, the 17-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cuthrell, died at the 
family residence, Berkley avenue and Sixth street, last night at 6:15 o'clock.  
He had been sick about ten days with pneumonia and his death was not unexpected.  
The funeral will occur today at 3:30 p.m.

The funeral services over the remains of George Erskine, the 17-months-old son 
of Mr. and Mrs. John Cuthrell, were conducted from the family residence, corner 
Berkley avenue and Fifth street, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, Rev. M.P. 
Porter, of the Main Street Christian Church, officiating.  The interment was in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
