Virginia Beach - Mrs. Roxie Long Cuthrell, 78, died Saturday in Richmond.

A native of Seaboard, NC, she was the widow of Emmett H. Cuthrell, and a member
of Rosemont Congregational Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred C. Miles of Virginia Beach, and
Mrs. Marjorie C. Smith of Chester;  a sister, Mrs. Mary L. Woodard of
Chesapeake; and three grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Willis E. Joiner.  Burial will be in Riverside
Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home Monday night from 7:30 to 9.
