Norfolk - Mrs. Sarah F. Dailey of 974 Ave I, the widow of John Louis Dailey 
and a native of Norfolk County, died Wednesday in her home.

She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church and former member of the 
Gospel Choir, Sunshine Savings Club, Widows Club, Mason and Holmes 
Missionary of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Hazel D. Gray, Mrs. Dorothy D. 
Shields, Mrs. Elouise D. Kearney, Mrs. Thelma D. Harris, and Mrs. Bertha D. 
Clinton, and two sons, George C. Dailey and Joseph L. Dailey, all of 
Norfolk; 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in New Calvary Baptist 
Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home has charge. The 
body will be in church at 1 p.m. Saturday.
