He was the husband of Ethel M. Dailey. He retired in 1974 from the Texaco Co. Terminal in Norfolk after 41 years service. He was a member of South Norfolk Church of Christ and the Chesapeake Senior Citizens Club. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Murphy of Hampton; a son, Adrian L. Dailey of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in South Norfolk Church of Christ by the Revs. Garrett Lee and Frank Forehand. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and will be at 555 New Colony Drive, Virginia Beach, after the funeral. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
