Norfolk - Marie Cappadona Dailey passed away peacefully on May 22, 2015. A life-
long resident of Norfolk, she was born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, on November 10, 
1918, to Anthony and Anna Betz Cappadona. She graduated from St. Mary High School, 
where she was valedictorian and captain of the basketball team. There she met the 
love of her life, Charles B. (Bud) Dailey. She was predeceased by her beloved 
husband of 55 years and by her brother, Anthony, and sister, Rosalie. Left to 
cherish her memory are her three daughters, Anna Marie Cross (Edward), Angela 
Manning (Don), and Gloria Visel (Gerry), eight grand children, four great-grand 
children and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie loved her family, poetry, and her 
"house on the river" in Gloucester where she and Bud lived for many years in 
retirement. Interment will be at a private service at a later date. The family 
would like to thank the caregivers at the Beth Shalom Memory Unit.
