Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday January 27, 1948
Mrs. Annie E. Dalby, widow of the Rev. James H. Dalby, died at the residence 
of her daughter, Mrs. E.L. Sawyer, 719 Michigan Avenue, yesterday at 1:30 
a.m.
Besides her daughter she is survived by two sons, L. Preston Dalby, of 
Norfolk, and James D. Dalby, of Boston, Mass. 
Mrs. Dalby was a native of Cambridge, Md., and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for a number of years.  She was a member of the Memorial Methodist 
Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
tomorrow at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mrs. Annie E. Dalby - Funeral services for Mrs. Dalby will be conducted at 
the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. B.T. Candler, 
pastor of the Memorial Methodist Church and the Rev. R. Orman Bryant, D.D., 
pastor of the Park Place Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
