Norfolk Virginian September 2, 1879
Sunday night at ten minutes past 10 o’clock, at his residence in this city, 
CORNELIUS W. DALBY, aged 60 years.
The funeral will take place THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at 4 o’clock, from his late 
residence, No. 14 Mariners street. Friends and acquaintances invited to attend.

Additional Comments:
While his tombstone has his death on 4 Sep and the Norfolk Death Register has it 
on 29 Aug, the obit would place it on 31 Aug.
