Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 7,1923

Mrs. Jeannette Broaddus Dalby aged 22 years, wife of Calvin H. Dalby, died 
last night at 9:45 o'clock at the residence, No. 6 Clarendon apartments, 627 
Olney Road.  She is survived by her husband; her father, Dr. J.B. Broaddus, of 
Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. A.H. Ware, of Norfolk and Mrs. J.M. Thurston, of 
Richmond and two brothers, Dabney T. Broaddus, of Norfolk and J.B. Broaddus, 
Jr., of Richmond.  Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 
o'clock at the funeral apartments of V.H. Smith, 631 Olney Road, the Rev. 
Sparks W. Melton, D.D., of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.  
Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
