The Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 17, 1952
Lewis Preston Dalby, 73, son of the Rev. James H. and Annie Lewis Dalby, died 
at a Norfolk hospital Monday afternoon after a long illness.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. E.L. Sawyer, of Norfolk, and a brother, James 
D. Dalby, of Brookline, Mass. Mr. Dalby was a native of Maryland and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for 60 years.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to magnolia 
Cemetery for private funeral services this morning.
