Frederick Dalton, traffic manager of the Norfolk Southern Railroad and widow of Capt. Thomas F. Dalton, died yesterday morning at 3:20 o'clock at her residence, No. 3 Bonshaw Apartment, 1334 Stockley Gardens. She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Mrs. Mary Dunn Cotton, and a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Surviving besides her son, J. Frederick Dalton, are another son, Thomas A. Dalton, of New York; three daughters, Mrs. William B. Tredwell, New York and Mrs. Robert Randolph and Mrs. Joseph J. Browne, Norfolk; six grandchildren, Mrs. Martin Dwyer, Montclair, N.J., Dalton Tredwell, New York, Miss Mary Frances Dalton, Philadelphia; Thomas F. Dalton, 2d, Portsmouth; Joseph J. Browne, Jr. and Robert Randolph, Jr., Norfolk. Mrs. Dalton was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and funeral services will be held at that church Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ************************************************************************* Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Dalton — Funeral services for Mrs. Dalton, widow of Capt. Thomas F. Dalton, whose death occurred Friday morning at the residence, 3 Bonshaw Apartments, 1334 Stockley Gardens, were held yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas E. Waters, pastor, officiating. The Rev. E. A. Brosnan, Rev. P. P. Brennan, Rev. Patrick Tierney, and Rev. Paul V. Heller were present in the sanctuary. During the service, Mrs. Stark A. Sutton sang, "One Sweet1y Solemn Thought," with Prof. J. Harvey Stevens, organist. There was a large attendance and a profusion of floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, pink roses and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services at the grave were conducted by Rev. E. A. Brosnan, assisted by Rev. P. P. Brennan and Rev. Paul V. Heller. The pallbearers were Frank A. Evans, Dr. P. St. L. Moncure, M. S. Hawkins, L. H. Windholz. J. L. Hagaman, J. Watts Martin, Basil Manly, C. H. Ware, John Campbell, Keville Glennan and W. D. Baker.
