Norfolk Virginian November 15, 1887
DALTON – Sunday, November 13th, at Norfolk, Va., ANDREA JULIA, aged 7 months and 
16 days, infant daughter of Andrew J. and Rosa Dalton.
She faded as the flowers fade
When Winter winds are nigh,
A little tender bud, she lay
Upon her mother’s breast; today
She blossoms in the sky.
The baby spirit laughs no more
From out its perfect clay,
Too pure for human hearts to love,
Another angel gone above – 
Our darling babe ANDREA.
