Norfolk Virginian September 1, 1897
The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth J. Damron, aged 67 years, who died at the residence 
of her daughter, Mrs. W. F. Galloway, No. 627 Church street, took place from Queen 
Street M. E. Church yesterday morning at 11 o’clock. The service was conducted by 
Rev. J. W. Moore, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. B. D. Tucker, D.D., of 
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
The last name was also spelled as Damon and Damaron.
