Dana, 90, a retired Navy commander, died June 4, 1987, in a nursing home. Mr. Dana, a native of Savannah, Ga., was an assistant manager of the Norfolk- Portsmouth Bridge Tunnel. He was a 1920 graduate of the Naval Academy and served most of his Navy career aboard submarines. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and an Episcopalian. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy D. Jester of Dataw Island, S.C.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Copeland Funeral Home Chapel, Beaufort. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 443, Beaufort, S.C. 29901.
