Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, July 5, 2002 
Pauline Rosa Dancy, 64, of the 2700 block of Liberia Drive, died July 2, 2002,
in her home. She was born in Bakerstown, N.C., and was a widow.

Survivors include her daughters, Ethel Everett and Jennie Barnes; sons, Joseph
Dancy, Ricky Battle and Emanual Barnes; sisters, Christine Taylor and Diane
Wilson; brothers, Claude Manning and James Manning; and a host of grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents,
Nettie Blummer Manning and Elbert Manning.

A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Hale Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery . There will be a wake today from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral
home
