NORFOLK — Eva Virginia Holder Daniel, 88, of 9406 Grove Ave., a native of 
Asheville, N.C., and the widow of Henderson E. Daniel Sr., died Saturday in a 
hospital.
She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Advent.
Survivors include a daughter, C. Jeanne Mitchell of Virginia Beach; two sons, 
Henderson E. Daniel Jr. and James Robert Daniel, both of Norfolk; a brother, 
Connie E. Holder of Andrews, S.C.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 
and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Episcopal Church of the 
Advent by the Rev. Herbert H. Smith Jr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, in charge. Memorial 
donations may be made to the pantry fund of Church of the Advent.
