NORFOLK — Henderson Eugene Daniel Sr., 69, of 9406 Grove Ave., husband of Mrs. 
Eva V. Holder Daniel and son of Robert N. and Mrs. Esther Benson Daniel, died in 
a hospital Thursday.
A native of Salisbury, N.C., he lived in Norfolk 24 years. He was a member of 
Episcopal Church of the Advent and was in the plastering business.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Jeanne Mitchell of 
Lynnwood, Virginia Beach; two sons, Henderson E. Daniel Jr. and James R. Daniel 
of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Olivia D. Andrews of La Jolla, Calif.; four 
grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Episcopal Church of 
the Advent for a funeral service today at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Reginald C. Groff, 
rector, and Rev. B. Sidney Sanders, rector of Eastern Shore Episcopal Chapel. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
