Daniel-Mrs. Amelia Daniel, died at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J.E. 
Crosby, 338 Charlotte Street, a quarter after ten last night.

The funeral of Amelia Daniel will take place from her late residence, 338 
Charlotte Street, this afternoon at 2:30. Friends and acquaintances are invited 
to attend.

The Norfolk Virginian, April 20, 1897

The funeral of Mrs. Amelia Daniel took place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock 
from the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J.E. Crosby, No. 338 Charlotte 
Street, and was conducted by the Rev. A.S. Lloyd, of St. Luke’s Episcopal 
Church. The interment was in Elmwood.
