Mrs. Mattie Smith Daniels, 310 Henry street, died Tuesday, November 12 after 
a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late George and Mrs. Esther Smith and the wife 
of Leroy Daniels.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 17 at the First Baptist Church, 
Berkley with the Rev. W. E. Clark  officiating.  Besides her husband, she is 
survived by two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Johnson, Mrs. Esther Sawyer;  one 
brother, James Smith;   one niece, Mrs. Edna Nixon;  one nephew, James Smith 
Jr, and other relatives.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pretlow’s Funeral Home in charge.
