Chesapeake - John S. Daniels, a retired salesman of 1015 Hill street, received 
final rites recently at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he held membership.

The service was conducted by the Rev. Leon Freeman of Pleasant Grove Baptist 
Church.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Chatman Funeral Home.

A native of Princess Anne County, Mr. Daniels was a salesman for Tidewaer 
Distributors for a number of years.  He was a member of St. Paul lodge of 
Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Daniels, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn 
Daniels;  a son, Joseph Daniels of New York;  and four sisters, Mrs. India 
Johnson and Mrs. Ethel Robinson of Norfolk, Mrs. Pearl Sparrow of New York and 
Mrs. Estella Clark of (no further info provided by obituary)
