A funeral service was scheduled to be held Thursday at Mother Church of God In 
Christ for Mrs. Lethia H. Bandy Darden of 905 Wolcott avenue.  She died Sunday 
in a Norfolk hospital.

Bishop D. Lawrence Williams was to officiate, and burial was to be in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of Hale Funeral Home.

A native of Raeford, NC, Mrs. Darden was the daughter of James Crouch and Mrs. 
Katie Crouch.  A member of Mother Church, she sang in its choir.

Survivors include two sons, Leroy Bandy of Norfolk and John Bandy of 
Philadelphia;  a sister, Mrs. Lillie Kenlow of Garfield, NJ;  two brothers, Arch 
Crouch of North Carolina and Lacy J. Crouch of Hackensack, NJ;  and a 
granddaughter.
