Virginian-Pilot July 11, 1944
Willard Carroll Dart, 54, husband of Pearl Williams Dart, died at a local hospital 
Sunday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, 
Miss Ellen Elizabeth Dart.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home this 
afternoon at 2 o’clock by the Rev. L. G. Sturdivant, D.D., pastor of the Park 
Place Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
