Princess Anne Road, whose grandfather, Lycurgus Berkley, founded the town of Berkley, now a section of Norfolk, died Wednesday morning in a hospital after a long illness. She was born in Norfolk, a daughter of Waverley Lee Berkley and Mrs. Judith Elizabeth Ferebee. She was the widow of David Armistead Dashiell. Her father for many years was president of Berkley Permanent Building & Loan Association, now Home Federal. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Survivors include two sons, David A. Dashiell Jr. of Norfolk and Dr. Waverley B. Dashiell of Columbus, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Nathaniel Beaman III, a sister, Mrs. Richard C. Owen, and a brother, Fairfax M. Berkley, all of Norfolk; and eight grandchildren. A funeral service will be held today at noon in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church by the Rev. A. Heath Light of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may contribute to St. Andrews Church. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Beamon, 5220 Edgewater Drive.
