Kitty taught Bud on the same court and later raised and taught five children to play on the courts at Fergus Reid and the NYCC. Kitty also enjoyed a good game of Bridge and was rumored to play marathon gaming sessions, starting mid-morning and playing through lunch, dinner and dessert to get the foursome to the last hand. She loved to spend time with her family and friends whether traveling, playing tennis, playing bridge, boating or at the beach. She was an avid supporter of the Navy and Virginia Tech Football. Kitty was a member of Royster Kings Daughter Circle and the West Ghent Garden Club. Left to cherish her memory are her five children, thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
