The funeral of Mr. Peter Daughtery, whose death occurred at the home of his son-
in-law, Mr. Fred. W. Mause, No. 307 Colley avenue, Friday night, was held from the 
residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the presence of a large gathering of 
the friends of the deceased. The service was conducted by the Rev. Father R. A. 
Drake, of the Sacred Heart Catholic church. The remains were laid to rest in St. 
Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Messrs. John Blitz, A. H. Pensey, 
E. H. Bradley, William Hitchings, Thomas Holmes, John Etheredge and Mr. Leighton.
