Norfolk - Eugene B. Davenport of 929 Anna street, who died Dec. 25 in a local 
hospital after a long illness, was given final rites Tuesday in B. F. King 
Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. J. B. Henderson officiated.  Interment was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

The Norfolk native was a son of George W. Davenport and Mrs. Margaret Keeling 
Davenport.  He was retired from Rick’s Cleaners and was a member of Bank Street 
Baptist Church.  He attended Norfolk Mission College.

Surviving are a brother, Harold S. Davenport of Norfolk;  several nieces and 
nephews.
