Mrs. Annie Davenport died suddenly at her residence, 10 Hanson Ave., Norfolk, 
Monday morning, July 2. The funeral was held at the residence Wednesday, July 4, 
and was well attended. Rev. D. W. Harris officiated. The floral tributes were many 
and beautiful. The remains were laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. She leaves a 
husband, six children and other relatives to mourn their loss.
