The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. James M. Owens, of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The floral tributes were very handsome. The deceased, who passed the age of 90 years, gave up her residence in Norfolk just before the yellow fever epidemic that swept over the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth in 1855, but had visited the city frequently since. She passed a winter here about seven years ago.
