Leontine Johnson Davidson of the 7000 block of Gregory Drive passed away quietly 
April 23, 2004, at her residence. A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Oren 
Davidson and retired from Norfolk Naval Supply Center. Mrs. Davidson was a 
member of First Baptist Church Bute Street, Norfolk, and its DAWC Club. She was 
a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1938. 

Survivors include a daughter, Ellen L. Davidson of Norfolk; three sisters, 
Margaret Jones of Norfolk, Catherine Harris and Jean Brooks, both of Portsmouth; 
two brothers, Robert O. Johnson of Norfolk and Leon R. Johnson (Debra) of 
Baltimore, Md.; a grandchild, Gregory O. Davidson (Shaterra) of Los Angeles, 
Calif.; three great-grandchildren, Oren M. Davidson, Anthony S. Davidson and 
Evan G. Davidson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
She was predeceased by her parents, Lillie W. Johnson and Paul E. Johnson. 

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church Bute 
Street, Norfolk, by the Rev. Dr. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery , Norfolk. The body will be in the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. 
Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, is in charge.
