The Virginian Pilot February 6, 1976
Mrs. Melvenia Beasley Davidson, 88, of 462 Martha Lee Drive, the widow of 
William Edwin Davidson and a native of Norfolk, died Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in 
Newport News.
She lived in this area most of her life and was a member of Lafayette 
Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, and the W.O.W.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Amelia D. Ruhlin of Hampton; a son, James 
E.B. Davidson of Elk Grove Village, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral 
Home, Tidewater Drive, by the Rev. Daniel D. Dickenson of Lafayette 
Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
