Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Tuesday April 10, 1934
Walter G. Davies, aged 36, son of Emily and the late Charles Davies, died in 
Richmond yesterday morning at 8:40 o'clock.  Mr. Davies was a native and lifelong 
resident of Norfolk and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Emily Davies of Norfolk; 
two sisters, Mrs. C.H. Devoto, of Richmond and Mrs. W.H. Ackiss, Jr., of Newport 
News and one brother, C.R. Davies, of Richmond.
Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason 
street, tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
