James A. Davis - Funeral services for Mr. Davis, 734 Alleghany street, were held
Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Church of God in Christ with the pastor, Elder Robert
L. Bady, officiating.

Mr. Davis is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ida Davis; two brothers, Christopher
C. and Thomas E. Davis; four sisters, Miss Ida Mae Davis and Mesdames Mary Alice
Hill, Ethel Williams and Lillian Scott; three aunts, Mesdames Viola Dozier, Mary
Brown and Nellie Green; uncle, John Summerville.

Burial was in the family plot in Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Chatman Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
